The Chamber of Commerce (Kamer van Koophandel) is responsible for the registration of information in the Trade Register (Handelsregister) and for maintaining the register. In addition, we provide entrepreneurs with relevant information in order to support them in starting successful businesses, innovating and doing business in the Netherlands and abroad. We connect entrepreneurs with each other and with relevant organizations in order to help them succeed in their (growth) ambitions.

It goes without saying, that this is also the case for the expanding security sector which contributes significantly to the (cyber) security of companies in the Netherlands and abroad. The Chamber of Commerce is a public service provider without a profit motive. We cooperate with other government organizations as well as other parties in the market.

We are also responsible for the assistance of security SME's through SME Connect, the helpdesk of HSD for SMEs and entrepreneurs from the security sector looking to grow their businesses or seeking opportunities for innovation.
