Cyber Resilience Center Greenport Organises Cyber Crisis Simulations
The following months, Cyber Resilience Center Greenport will organise several cyber crisis exercises for horticultural entrepreneurs. Partners of the Cyber Resilience Center Greenport will invite their network to join these crisis exercises. Aim is to give participants insights into the various aspects involved in such a crisis and learn how best to prepare for it.
During the session, participants form a strategic crisis team of a fictitious SME that appears to have been hacked. The crisis team must decide on how to act. This way we want to make participants aware of the drastic decisions that need to be made and the consequences for business operations, privacy and crisis communications. Afterwards, participants will receive a checklist with which they can test their own preparations in the field of cyber security.
These crisis exercises are part of the awareness campaign for cybersecurity in the horticulture cluster. Earlier this year, CW Greenport organised a cyber crisis simulation at the Rabobank. These sessions are partly made possible by MRDH, programme 'Sectoraal Digitaal Veilig'.
