Crypto Manufacturer Compumatica Expands Office at HSD Campus

HSD Partner Compumatica, the only Dutch crypto manufacturer, celebrated the opening of their new office at the HSD Campus on 12 Ocober 2016. Compumatica will be part of the ecosystem of The Hague Security Delta with their innovative security solutions in the field of cryptography. The ceremonial opening, on the HSD Campus Innovation Centre, was preceded by a seminar on privacy.

The Hague Ecosystem

The first steps towards collaboration came to life during an economic mission to Japan in November 2015 where the Dutch IT security company with The Hague Security Delta (HSD) and InnovationQuarter, under supervision of Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte and Minister for Economic Affairs Henk Kamp. During this mission, aimed at cybersecurity, the strategy of Compumatica was frequently discussed including the wish to be closer to their customers. Many customers are active in The Hague, therefore the choice for a location at HSD Campus was obvious. Encryption solutions

Compumatica was founded 1991 and acts at the forefront of developments in the field of cyber security and encrypting. They design codes for security software and encryption solutions. Their product CryptoGuard VPN controls the IP traffic between different locations and takes connection is secure because the data is encrypted and thus unreadable.

PIB Japan

Compumatica also takes part in a consortium of Dutch security companies, knowledge institutions, Innovation Quarter, The Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RvO) and The Hague Security Delta where they collaborate in the ‘Partners for International Business’ (PIB Japan), aiming to secure Tokyo Olympic Games in 2020. The consortium underlines the Dutch expertise and experience in protecting critical infrastructures from cyber threats.
