Wanted: Digital Security Solutions for a Smart Sustainable City of Amsterdam

The municipality of Amsterdam recently launched the 'In Residence Open Event Programme 2024', an initiative that aims to make the city smarter and more sustainable. For this initiative, Amsterdam is looking for entrepreneurs with innovative solutions. Candidates can register for the programme and have a chance to test their innovation at participating open events.

Are you an entrepreneur with an innovative solution? Then register for the programme and get the opportunity to test your innovation. The municipality of Amsterdam is striving to make the city more sustainable with new innovations in waste management, sustainable food, transport, inclusivity, digital security and other smart solutions. Themes can be found on the municipality’s website.

If your innovation is selected, you will receive:

• Access to testing locations (open events or labs in public spaces such as Pride and the Marathon)
• A budget of €15,000 (when selected)
• Guidance from a team and a mentor
• Connections with the municipality of Amsterdam and other event organisers
