Open Call for Quantum Challenges Issued by Ministry of Defence
The Ministry of Defence is inviting businesses and organisations to play a part in Quantum challenges during the Purple NECtar event. As The Netherlands is considered a global frontrunner in quantum technology, this presents opportunities for the Ministries of Defence and Infrastructure and Water Management. Consider, for example, the development of quantum sensors and algorithms to find unexploded sea mines, identify malicious drones or track munitions.
We face complex problems that can benefit from the innovative power of quantum technology. Purple NECtar is the platform where Defence, knowledge institutes and industry work together to develop pioneering solutions. A starting bonus and chance of a contract are among the possibilities.
The Ministry of Defence will host an information session on 18 December 2024 to help participants discover all about the Quantum Challenges and how your organisation can contribute to strategic innovations within the ministries.
Registration for the information session can be done via: purplenectar@mindef.nl.
Registration is open until 13 December and after your registration you will receive full details including location and time by 16 December.
The Quantum Challenges Purple NECtar 2025 are in collaboration with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management.
