60 Students with 17 different Nationalities Selected for International Cyber Security Summer School 2025
Following a thorough selection process, 60 students representing 17 different nationalities have been chosen to attend the International Cyber Security Summer School, which will take place from August 17–22, 2025.
In a week-long program, participants of the International Cyber Security Summer School will attend various lectures from public, private, and knowledge institutions. Additionally, multiple HSD partners will provide challenges in a range of topics, allowing each participant to take on a challenge within their area of interest and at their own level.
Participating HSD partners
Numerous HSD partners collaborate to create an interesting programme for the students by providing lectures and challenges. The following organisations are participating in this year's edition: Europol, NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI), Scenarios4summits, Booz Allen Hamilton, Watchmen, Group-IB Europe B.V, De Haagse Hogeschool, NSCR, Universiteit Leiden, Nederlands Forensisch Instituut (NFI), Hogeschool Leiden, TNO, KPN N.V, Gemeente Den Haag, aXite Security Tools, Connect2trust.
Programme
Along with the lectures and challenges, the programme consists of several networking opportunities for organisations and students, as well as visits to headquarters of partners. For example, ICSSS 2024 saw participants visiting Europol and the NATO Communications and Information Agency. Additionally, the HR event is another highlight of the program, where partners can pitch their organisation and engage with students. This year's programme is due to be revealed soon, but promises to be full of activities, including another HR event, networking opportunities, BBQs and interactive lectures!
