The Hague Security Delta has been given a prominent place on the official website of the Global Conference on Cyberspace  (GCCS) 2015. On 16-17 April 2015 the Netherlands will host the fourth GCCS in The Hague. Representatives from governments, private sector and civil society will gather in order to promote practical cooperation in cyberspace, to enhance cyber capacity building, and to discuss norms for responsible behaviour in cyberspace. By being prominently mentioned on this website, HSD has been given a great opportunity to promote the HSD network to a large international group of professionals in the cyber domain.

HSD is named as one of the key reasons for choosing The Hague as hosting city for the GCCS 2015: “Many influential cyber security organisations are also based in the region, including the National Cyber Security Centre, Europol’s Cybercrime Centre, NATO’s Communications and Information Agency and the Dutch Defence Cyber Command. In addition, many large and niche businesses and knowledge institutions in cyber security come together in The Hague Security Delta, the largest security cluster in Europe. In this Dutch cluster, businesses, government and knowledge institutions work together on innovations, and knowledge and business development in security. All this makes The Hague the perfect venue for the Global Conference on CyberSpace 2015.”

In the week of the conference a Cyber Week will be organised on the HSD Campus. This week will exist out of a range of events, including an innovation room and several debates. More information about the Cyber Week will be made available soon!
