PIB Germany on Trade Mission to IT-SA
This week the Partners for International Business (PIB) Germany on Cyber Security are on a trade mission in South-Germany from 24 until 27 October. The group of ten companies will visit Intel Ignite and the residency of the Dutch Consulate-General in Munich and the IT-SA 2022 in Nuremberg, Europe's leading trade fair for IT security.
Next to a collective exploratory visit to IT-SA, the mission aims to gather more knowledge about the best ways to approach the German market, find leads for potential partnerships and use each other’s strengths and experience to position the Dutch cybersecurity sector as a whole.
Under the umbrella of #PIBGermany, the participating cyber companies will be entering the German market for the next three years and this mission is part of the program.
The PIB partners ATS Card Solutions, Codean, EclecticIQ, Guardian360, Hudson Cybertec, Secumailer, Ubiqu and Zynyo, and mission participants SonicBee and Secura will represent Dutch cybersecurity expertise. The mission is organised by the Consulate-General München together with InnovationQuarter, Security Delta (HSD) and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO).
Germany is the number one market for Dutch cybersecurity companies venturing abroad. Our neighbours are actively looking beyond their border for cybersecurity expertise, and the Dutch are often a preferred partner. Due to Germany’s land size and its strong industrial sector, the country has a lot of vital infrastructure to protect. As it is also focused on digitalising their infrastructure, securing infrastructure is an important focus in the German cybersecurity sector.
