Eye Security and HarfangLab Join Forces to Strengthen European Cybersecurity
During the it-sa trade fair in Nuremberg, Eye Security and HarfangLab announced a partnership combining European-developed Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) technology from HarfangLab with the Dutch Eye Security’s Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service (featuring a 24/7 European SOC and Incident Response). The solution will use EU-hosted data and European security teams, with support in German, Dutch and English.
This development provides European organisations the opportunity to choose a cybersecurity service where the technology, the data, and the response teams are all based in Europe. A limited beta is planned for Q4 2026, followed by a broader market launch in early 2027.
European technology and operational security
Both organisations draw on expertise in national security and cyber defence. Their collaboration aims to make European-developed technology and round-the-clock protection more accessible to businesses, including those in critical sectors such as healthcare, manufacturing and logistics.
Job Kuijpers, CEO and Co-Founder of Eye Security: “European sovereignty is the freedom to choose without compromising protection,” says Job Kuijpers, CEO and Co-Founder of Eye Security. “With HarfangLab, we bring European-built technology together with the people who monitor, investigate and respond, around the clock.”
HarfangLab develops its technology and trains its AI models in-house, with data stored in the EU. Its EDR has been evaluated through independent initiatives, including the MITRE ATT&CK Evaluations and EDR Telemetry Project. Eye Security selected the platform following extensive testing, focusing on detection capabilities, telemetry, active response and low system resource consumption.
Flexibility and European credentials
Organisations will be able to introduce HarfangLab alongside compatible existing EDR deployments, including US-developed products. This allows businesses to explore a European alternative without immediately replacing their current security technology.
Ze’ev Rozov, Chief Business Officer at Eye Security: “Our customers have specifically asked us for European security solutions. They want to know where the software they use comes from and where their data is stored. With HarfangLab, we can provide them with a strong European EDR alternative.”
Next steps: proactive threat detection
Eye Security plans to integrate HarfangLab with its Agentic SOC to support proactive threat and vulnerability hunting. HarfangLab’s asset-discovery capabilities will also help identify unmonitored assets and potential gaps in endpoint protection, including Shadow IT.
