The NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) has selected three HSD partners for the successful Incubator pilot project, for which it cooperated with The Hague Security Delta to organise the NATO Collaborative Cyber Security Community at the HSD Campus.

The next step in the process towards cooperation on Cyber Security needs has been made. Over 40 proposals have been received, and the partners that provided the most innovative solutions to address challenges in the areas of big data such as cyber defense, situational awareness, and mobile security were selected. Amongst the selected partners are three HSD Partners: HSD partners IntelWorks, Thales and Hewlett-Packard(HP) are amongst them.

The results of the above mentioned pilot project are being presented at the Symposium ‘’NIAS2015: Advancing Cyber Defence Collaboration and Innovation, a view from within’’ which is being held from 15- 17 September 2015 at the Mons Expo in Belgium. NIAS2015 addresses the latest innovations in cyber security and provides business critical insight through practical case studies and sessions, workshops and much more.

The Cyber Incubator pilot project aims at accelerating innovation on key cyber challenges. By partnering with HSD the NCI Agency aims to cooperate with HSD partners in order to develop innovation models related to anticipation of emerging threats to NATO’s Information systems.

During this Kick-Off Event at the HSD Campus, the HSD Cyber Security Community was introduced to the NCI Agency. The main objective of this community is to cooperate on urgent Cyber Security needs. The Event has brought great opportunities for HSD partners to get  involved in the international domain of Cyber Security, one of the main focus areas of HSD, and provided opportunities for NCI Agency in terms of new partnerships
