ING Economics Bureau: The Hague Security Delta Significant Opportunity for Economic Development
According to ING Economics Bureau, employment in region The Hague’s security cluster has the potential to grow at an annual rate of 3 percent. Recent geopolitical turmoil has increased the attention for security, which has a positive effect on the region’s growth. In its report, ING names The Hague Security Delta as a significant opportunity for economic development of The Hague. Indeed, “[…] with 110 embassies, 130 international NGOs, and UN institutions, The Hague has a strong reputation as city of peace, justice, and (digital) security. Security is not only a top priority socially, it also is a sector with a lot of potential.”
