Call for Participation: Florin Awards Europe 2017 During European Payment Summit in The Hague
This year the 16th edition of The European Payment Summit 2017 will take place in The Hague at 8 and 9 March. The Hague Security Delta is endorsing partner of this event and the program also contents insights on security issues. During this event The Florin Award will be hand out to the best Secure Transaction Solutions. Security organisations are invited to participate.
Security has become top priority in the transaction space. They are in a constant battle to ‘smart-out’ elements in society who focus on taking advantage of weak spots in the digital infrastructures. In order to prevent fraud and raise security levels, a lot of energy and innovation is needed to secure a trustworthy and reliable (payment)infrastructure and still secure a customer friendly and simple way of operations.
The European Payment Summit (EPS) offers a 2 day program featuring key developments in the payments/transaction space ‘for-by professionals’, combined with key sessions on international Security & Fraud. Next to the many session there will be breaks to visit key cases and presentations of professional suppliers and new start-ups (FinTech). The audience consists of key policy makers, decision makers in the FSI, top-experts in payments and the transaction space and key stakeholders in both payments, (cyber)security , technology, transaction infrastructure, mobile, cards and other related areas of expertise.
The Florin Awards Europe 2017 – Best Secure Transaction Solutions
EPS 2017 hosts the Florin Awards Europe 2017 and welcomes key developments and initiatives to improve a secure transaction space. Three categories opened up for entry to the Florin Awards Europe 2017:
Omni-channel Payments Security
– Mobile payments
– Contactless / omni-channel/ multi-device
– Secured API interfaces
Identity, Biometrics and Authentication
– Protection of personal identity and data privacy
– Use of biometrics to supplement or even replace passwords
Architecture for Secure Transactions
– E-commerce website protection
– Internet of Things security and architecture
– Early detection/prevention of DDos Attacks and threats to E-commerce
The nominees are selected by a panel of jury. The winners will be chosen by popular vote by the attending audience. Also the jury will select a final jury vote winner
Invitation to apply
EPS invites organisations in the HSD cluster to apply for the Florin Awards. Registration for the Florin Awards is now online and the term for entry your participation is extended and closes on Wednesday 15 February 2017.
Selected nominees will receive a free delegate pass to join the entire European payment Security Summit. Those not selected will receive special discount to join the summit.
