Hack The Hague Side Event: What Would a Cyber Crisis Mean for Your Organisation?

Datum:
05 oktober 2026
Locatie:
Atrium The Hague City Hall, Spui 70, 2511 BT The Hague
Organisator:
An initiative of VNO-NCW The Hague region and the Municipality of The Hague, in close collaboration with HSD and Digitalzh.

You’ve been hacked… What now?

What happens when your systems go down, employees can no longer work, production comes to a standstill and sensitive business data may have fallen into the hands of cybercriminals?

During this exclusive Hack The Hague side event, participants will experience what a ransomware attack could mean for their organisation in practice. An interactive crisis simulation puts senior management, business operations and IT teams under pressure, with realistic dilemmas and critical decisions to make.

The focus goes beyond technology. Leadership, communication, business continuity and collaboration are all essential when dealing with a cyber crisis.

What to expect

During this two-hour interactive session, an experienced facilitator will guide participants through a realistic cyber crisis. Expect difficult choices, time pressure and situations where there is no obvious right answer.

The programme takes place around lunchtime at The Hague City Hall. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to discover Hack The Hague and connect with a range of initiatives in The Hague focused on cybersecurity and digital resilience.

Who should attend?

The event is intended for a select group of SMEs and larger organisations that recognise the importance of cybersecurity but are still looking for practical ways to strengthen their resilience.

Each organisation is invited to send a member of senior management, optionally accompanied by the colleague responsible for IT and cybersecurity.

Final participation will depend on the order in which registrations are received and whether the organisation fits the intended target group. Further information about the programme, exact location and start time will be provided once participation has been confirmed.

Interested? Register now via the link at the top of this page.

Because the most important question is not whether your organisation will come under cyber attack, but whether you will be prepared when it happens.
