DITTS Veiligheidsatelier 2020

On 11 February the Dutch Institute for Technology, Safety & Security (DITSS) will organise “ Het Veiligheidsatelier 2020”. During this event, representatives from businesses, universities, knowledge institutes, and governments will be asked to come up with innovative solutions for several security issues. 'Het Veiligheidsatelier' is a method to solve security issues where momentarily there is no clear solution for directly at hand. Every year a group of clients bring in security issues to be solved by 'Het Veiligheidsatelier'.

The main question during this event will be:

 “How can we influence the real estate rental proces to criminals, in a way that real estate becomes uninviting to execute criminal activities in the RIEC-regio Rotterdam?”

The event will take place in Rotterdam. After the event proposals can be made for a field lab, where these security solutions will be tested or research will be executed.
