Capstone Entrepreneurial 2022: Master Students Present Final Findings
Thursday 21 April was the last and final meet up between 17 master students in cyber security from TU Delft and the University of Twente with partners EYE Security, CFLW, Chapter8 and Secura, during the Capstone Entrepreneurial 2022 at the HSD Campus.
The 17 students presented their final findings, after researching the business cases of the participating partners in this year’s Capstone. On Thursday 10 March the business cases were presented to the students. The Capstone programme is part of the master students their 'Entrepreneurial Skills Course'.
Benefits for students and entrepreneurs
Purpose of the Capstone Entrepreneurial is to teach the participating students about entrepreneurship in cyber security and to practice it. Lecturers from the universities teached the relevant theory and prepare the students for practical work. By working with entrepreneurs in cyber security, students better understand what it takes to start business activities in cyber security. Some may be inspired to start a business themselves, although the majority will be looking for an inspiring place to work in the near future, which can often be found among entrepreneurial companies.
Taking part in “cyber security capstone entrepreneurship at the HSD Campus” provides the opportunity to get answers to important questions entrepreneurs have and gives a good first ‘get to know the student’ opportunity, which may facilitate recruiting.
