Den Haag Inspireert 2025: A Stronger Future Through Collaboration
On Friday, 13 June 2025, The Hague's Fokker Terminal once again became a thriving centre for collaboration and vision. Social and economic resilience in a world that is changing quickly was the main focus of this year's Den Haag Inspireert, the city's annual event for entrepreneurs, decision-makers, and innovators.
Organised by the Economic Board The Hague and the Municipality of The Hague, in collaboration with VNO-NCW regio Den Haag, MKB Den Haag, Koninklijke Horeca Nederland The Hague, Stichting Bedrijventerreinen Haaglanden, and Rabobank, the event brought together a broad spectrum of leaders to share insights, exchange knowledge, and build networks.
Focus on Cyber Resilience
Digital resilience, emphasised under the subject Digitaal Veilig Den Haag, was an essential part of the programme. Cybersecurity was highlighted through interesting keynote addresses and hands-on workshops.
Inge Bryan spoke about strategic data security, international supply chains and cyber crime. "Increase the price attackers pay to get us. Take better care of your IT and data, and hack them back."
Job Kuijpers, CEO of Eye Security brought an optimistic and pragmatic view on cyber resilience: “ In digital chaos lies the opportunity to regain control.”
Building Local Cyber Resilience
The local cyber resilience platform, Platform Lokaal Cyberweerbaar Den Haag, was also present to engage attendees with two key initiatives:
