New Funding Opportunities for Digital Innovators in Europe
Innovators in cloud technology, data management, artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, and digital skills have a new opportunity to secure additional funding through the European Union's Digital Europe programme. This initiative aims to bolster groundbreaking projects in these crucial areas by offering substantial financial support.
In a recent development, the Dutch government has announced the allocation of supplementary budgetary resources to enhance funding for specific topics not fully covered by the European programme. This national co-financing initiative ensures that pioneering digital sector projects receive the backing to thrive.
This presents a unique opportunity for innovators to access European and Dutch financial support to advance their visionary projects. For Dutch participants involved in any of the following European calls, an additional budget of €5.2 million is available:
- Specialised Education Programmes in Key Capacity Areas
- Support to the Implementation of Multi-Country Projects (MCPs)
- Development and Deployment of Advanced Key Technologies
- Support for Implementation of EU Legislation on Cybersecurity and National Cybersecurity Strategies
Innovators are encouraged to explore these opportunities to maximise their project's impact with this combined financial support.
Further information on the topics eligible for national co-financing can be found on the RVO website.
