Webinar: Teaching children to stay safe in online games

Europol is hosting a webinar for educators to introduce Cyber Defenders, an educational game that supports digital safety education through gaming. The session focuses on the risks children may encounter on online gaming platforms and how these risks can be addressed through education and classroom practice.

The webinar will include:

• An overview of online gaming platforms, the key safety risks children face, and how these can be addressed
• A demonstration of how Cyber Defenders works in practice
• An introduction to free classroom resources available to educators
• Q&A session

The webinar will be delivered in English and is aimed at educators working with primary and lower secondary school students across Europe, as well as education professionals involved in digital safety and prevention.
