The Grand Conference 2014
The Grand Conference is aimed at making the critical infrastructure leadership and their eco-systems aware of the importance of the cyber resilience for their businesses and for society as a whole. Cyber resilience is a precondition for the digital transformation of our society.
In order to equip themselves for this transition and ensure the appropriate level of security and resilience of systems, cities will need leadership, clear governance, strong processes, the right mindsets and robust technology.
Awareness alone is not enough, action is needed. Companies and governments have to take action and lead by doing. The Grand Conference facilitates this Leading by Doing, by providing inspiring stories of thought leaders, discussions with peers and by exploring the challenges of creating a resilient society.
This year's theme will be 'An Executive Dialogue on Cyber Risk'. The Grand Conference 2014 will form an interactive platform for countries and organizations willing to share good practices and contribute to a resilient digital society. Knowing that today's challenges can be best tackled through a multi-stakeholder and future-oriented approach.
Keynote speakers and scenario based policy discussions will set the environment to discuss the challenges in a hyperconnected world. The World Economic Forum (WEF) will discuss a draft report that outlines leading edge research, models for Cyber Risk and benchmark data that measures cyber risk across the enterprise, market, national and international level. The Grand Conference 2014 invites you to put challenging and inspiring Good Practices in the spotlights. Please let us know if you are willing to share your experiences and contribute to a resilient digital society.
