This year the Dutch transport and logistics market was hit hard by the global cyberattack. The port of Rotterdam suffered severe damage since two big terminals where down for quite some time, with substantial delays in the supply chain as a result.
Specialists indicate that there is a upside to this situation. Where previously cybercrime, system security and hackers were considered to be a cost item, it’s now top of mind. In order to give this process of awareness a platform, Nieuwsblad Transport organizes the Congress of Cybercrime in Transport & Logistics on 29 September.
