Introducing Three New Colleagues at HSD Office

Following the new governance of the HSD Foundation, HSD Office welcomes three new colleagues. With their addition to the team, HSD Office functions at full capacity aiming to accelerate and facilitate the Dutch security cluster.

 

As of 14 January 2019, Saskia Noordewier is Head Innovation Liaisons. In this role she is not only responsible for team management but will also be leading complex trajectories. “One of the goals for 2019 is improving partner satisfaction. This is something the team and I will be focusing on.” For the past twenty years, Saskia worked in the field of safety and crisis management. She started her career at the fire department, followed by a position in quality and innovation at The Hague police department. Next, she formed and headed her consultancy firm, specialising in Crisis Management. She worked for many different organisations, including local, regional and national governments, healthcare institutions and universities. In the past years Saskia has been employed by one of HSD’s partners, Crisisplan B.V., where she was responsible for internal management and strategic assignments.

 

To strengthen the relationship with our partners, Chris Klompenhouwer will start as Partner Manager as of 14 January 2019. As Partner Manager Chris will be the first point of contact for our partners. In his contact he focusses on the added value HSD can provide to its partners, and vice versa. Chris has a BA in European Studies and has worked as an Accountmanager at an IT-company specialised in networking infrastructure. “I am convinced that by cooperating closely with my colleagues and HSD partners, we can start new initiatives, improve our partner satisfaction and strenghten the Dutch security cluster. I am excited to get started.” 

 

Emmy Koning, will start 11 February 2019 as Innovation Liaison focusing on cyber security and national security. "As Innovation Liasion I will focus on creating economic opportunities for the societal challenge security, by bringing together businesses, government and knowledge institutions." Emmy has worked as an advisor crisis management, account manager Critical Infrastructure and advisor Knowledge- and Innovation Management. "I am enthusiastic to work for HSD because I am very excited about its characterisation acting as accelerator, connector and facilitator. And in addition I want to contribute to mission driven top sector policies for the theme security, through my new role."
