DronePort Rotterdam and Security Delta Join Forces
During the first edition of DronePort Connects on 17 April, DronePort Rotterdam and Security Delta (HSD) announced their new partnership aiming to bring together two ecosystems with complementary strengths: strategic coordination and advancement of autonomous and uncrewed systems (AUS) on one side, and expertise in cybersecurity, and digital resilience on the other.
Both organisations are committed to fortifying the digital security of critical infrastructure in the Netherlands, including environments in and around the Port of Rotterdam, and offshore areas. This partnership focuses especially on the role that autonomous and uncrewed systems play in these developments – from real-time operations in port and city environments to secure handling of data and communications.
Together, we work on:
- Strengthening cybersecurity and digital resilience in AUS applications in operational contexts: in the air, on or under water, and on land
- Jointly setting the agenda for innovations in cross-over opportunities in the field of data, data security, cyber security, new drone technologies, new sectors and areas of application
- Collaborating on events, training programs, and knowledge development
- Advancing national AUS innovation and positioning the Netherlands as a leader in secure, digitally resilient infrastructure
This partnership builds on a shared conviction: that autonomous and uncrewed systems are not just a set of technologies, but an enabler of digitally secure, resilient, and future-ready infrastructure. By combining our networks, expertise, and facilities, we’re putting that conviction straight into action – with the Netherlands at the forefront.
