Cooperating internationally has become of vital importance for defending societies against cyber threats in an increasingly globalised world. US and European investigative services therefore increasingly work together on issues like terrorism, cybercrime, drug trade, and money laundering. US cyber agents regularly visit Europol’s headquarters in The Hague, which underlines it’s role as security capital of Europe. This kind of cooperation will also be one of the main topics of the Global Conference on Cyber Space, taking place in The Hague on 15-16 April.
