Preview of HSD Security Talent Community Shown during International Community Platform Congress
In line with HSD’s ambition to increase the number of skilled employees available for organisations active in security, HSD is currently setting up the Security Talent Community. It focuses on aligning the demand for skilled personnel from organisations with the availability of students and professionals interested in the security field. A first preview of the community platform was shown this week during the International Community Platform (ICP) Congress in The Hague. ICP is a meeting place for international employers and service providers in the Greater The Hague region. Students and professionals were enthusiastic about the community and gave valuable feedback about what they expected to find both on- and offline.
Security Talent Community
HSD Security Talent is the education and career community for students and professionals in the fast-growing field of safety & security. The community is supported by the Security Talent platform, that offers an up-to-date overview of jobs, assignments, internships, public and private courses and trainings in security. This enables students to make informed study choices and employers can bring their vacancies directly to the attention of the currently scarce security talent. This way HSD Security Talent stimulates a career in security and contributes to employers’ increasing need for security talent. It is only with qualified staff that the Dutch Security cluster ‘The Hague Security Delta’ will be able to realise more jobs, more business activity and a safer world.
Official Launch
The platform will officially be launched by Ingrid van Engelshoven, deputy mayor of The Hague, during the HSD Café on Security Talent on 4 December. Click here to subscribe for this café.
