Kick-off CADMUS Consortium

On 16 January, the CADMUS consortium kicked-off: a collaboration of 7 organisations across Europe that has received a 3-year grant of € 3.14 million to execute a € 6.3 million programme to address Cybersecurity Expertise Shortage in Europe. The consortium is led by the Greece National Cybersecurity Authority.

Security Delta (HSD) and CVD - Centrum voor Veiligheid en Digitalisering from The Netherlands are part of this consortium and our colleagues Mark Ruijsendaal, Mira van Benthem, Mark Dorenbusch and Carine van Vliet are present during the interactive 2-day kick-off programme in Athens (Greece).

Our mission: To address the shortage of cybersecurity expertise in Europe by strengthening the skills of:
 - Teachers and trainers
 - Employees of SMEs and startups
 - Civil servants

With a combination of hands-on training and a solid theoretical foundation, we build on existing initiatives to prepare professionals for a career in cybersecurity.
