Passguard Raises Half a Million in Pre-Seed Round from Angels and Cybersecurity Experts

Passguard, a cybersecurity startup specialised in monitoring infostealer marketplaces, has successfully raised €500,000 in a pre-seed funding round. Three leading cybersecurity experts and angels are now on board as investors: Dimitri van Zantvliet, Cybersecurity Director at Nederlandse Spoorwegen (Dutch Railways), Rogier Fischer, founder and CEO of Hadrian, and Pieter Jansen, founder and former CEO of Cybersprint and currently partner at cybersecurity investor Ctrl+Alt+Invest.

Scaling the Solution

With the new funding, Passguard aims to further scale its data capabilities and improve accessibility through its API, enabling security integrators to seamlessly provide insights to their clients. Tom Leijte, CEO of Passguard: “With Dimitri, Rogier and Pieter we’re bringing a wealth of cybersecurity experience on board. Passguard recently took part in the (Cybersecurity) Validation & Accelerator Programme, organised by YES!Delft, Municipality of the Hague and InnovationQuarter and supported by a.o. HSD. This programme is aimed at fostering the growth of innovative startups and provides a unique opportunity for startups to develop and scale their cybersecurity solutions.
