HSD Partners Bizway, Guardian360 and NFIR Join Forces to Strengthen Supply Chain Cybersecurity

IT service providers Bizway, Guardian360 and NFIR have joined forces to help organisations strengthen cybersecurity across their supply chains. With the new Dutch Cybersecurity Act set to apply directly to more than 8,000 organisations, an estimated 1.5 million additional companies could be indirectly affected through mandatory supply chain security requirements.

Many suppliers are already receiving cybersecurity questionnaires from their customers, but often lack the knowledge or tools needed to demonstrate and improve their digital resilience. The new collaboration offers an integrated approach to help organisations address these challenges.

Combining insight, implementation and analysis

Through Guardian360’s Lighthouse platform, companies can assess the digital security of their own organisation and that of their suppliers free of charge. If vulnerabilities are identified, Bizway supports organisations with implementing and managing the necessary IT measures. Cybersecurity company NFIR then analyses the collected data to identify structural improvements and strengthen security across the wider supply chain.

Moving beyond the tick-box approach

According to NFIR CEO Arwi van der Sluijs, the collaboration aims to ensure that new cybersecurity legislation does not become a purely administrative ‘tick-box exercise’. By bringing assessment, management and analysis together, organisations can gain a faster and more reliable overview of the security of their entire supply chain, and take concrete steps to improve it.
