First HSD Online Cross-Sectorial CISO Meeting

Did you know that HSD Office organises cross-sectoral intervision meetings for Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs), since 2018? And that several groups are attending. During these intervision meetings, CISOs from different sectors -such as the banking and governmental sector- exchange knowledge & ideas and discuss solutions for IT security and challenges in their role of CISO. On 8 July the first online meeting took place.

The topic of this online session was: long-term consequences of the Corona crisis and how to return to the '(new) normal'. The CISOs were surprisingly positive. The massive change to working from home has also created opportunities, and the expected cyber attacks didn't quite accorre. In addition, the awareness of the importance of ICT and ICT security has increased. The session was led by Innovation Liasson Peter Zinn.
