Border Protection Conference Taking Place in The Hague

2015 has seen a summer of unprecedented migration across Africa, the Middle East and Europe, putting at risk the security of the region, which has been experienced in the recent attacks in Paris and lock-down of Brussels. The organisors of the World BORDERPOL Congress have chosen the Hague, City of Peace, Justice & Security, as host for their multi-jurisdictional transnational platform. From 8 untill 10 December, border protection, management and security industry policy-makers and practitioners convene to discuss the current international challenges faced in border protection; not only one’s own country’s borders, but those of neighbours and friends. Over 140 delegates from 40 countries are present.
