Key2XS Secured a €750,000 Investment From CTRL+ALT+INVEST to Bring Governance and Automation to Physical Key Management.

Key2XS, the Dutch-based cybersecurity startup pioneering the integration of physical key systems with modern Identity & Access Management (IAM) platforms, has secured a €750,000 investment from venture capital firm CTRL+ALT+INVEST. The funding will accelerate the development and international rollout of Key2XS’ innovative SaaS platform, which connects electronic locking systems like ASSA ABLOY’s CLIQ and iLOQ with identity providers such as Microsoft Entra ID, SailPoint, OKTA, OpenText/NetIQ and One Identity.

 

Key2XS is a cybersecurity platform that bridges physical key systems with identity management. With a strong focus on critical infrastructure, Key2XS enables organiSations to manage physical and digital access rights from a single, secure platform. CTRL+ALT+INVEST is a European venture capital firm focused on early-stage investments in cybersecurity, AI, and critical infrastructure technology.

CTRL+ALT+INVEST, known for backing early-stage cybersecurity, AI and infrastructure tech, sees Key2XS as a strategic addition to its portfolio. “We back teams solving overlooked but high-impact security problems,” said Pieter Jansen, co-founder and partner at CTRL+ALT+INVEST. “Key2XS turns a manual, error-prone process into an identity-driven control plane—exactly what utilities, transport operators, and public institutions need.”

 

The capital will be used to scale operations, expand the partner ecosystem, and further enhance the AI-driven key planning engine.
