TIIN Capital Invests in Brama Systems to Enhance SME Network Security
Brama Systems offers an affordable and reliable platform to SMEs to control and protect their IT networks against unauthorized access. The investment from TIIN Capital’s Dutch Security TechFund allows Brama Systems to further scale the platform and achieve the company’s strategic growth ambitions.
Brama Systems, the Utrecht based tech company on a mission to provide maximum-yet-affordable network security, has closed an investment round from TIIN Capital’s Dutch Security TechFund. Brama Systems provides user-friendly and affordable NAC/NAP technology that enables companies to monitor and control all devices that attempt to access the company network and ensure maximum protection of these networks. With the investment in Brama Systems, TIIN Capital continues to support leading cybersecurity entrepreneurs to scale their companies and build a safer society.
Brama Systems is a fast-growing tech company that was founded by three experienced network and IT security experts. The scalable NAC/NAP technology of Brama Systems is easy to implement and provides organizations an affordable and reliable platform to manage access to the company network and block any unauthorized access attempt.
Michael Lucassen, managing partner at TIIN Capital, sees great potential in the team of Brama Systems and their software platform:
“Cybersecurity for SMEs in The Netherlands is very important, also for the large enterprises because, ultimately, we are only as strong as our weakest link. The user-friendly network protection platform of Brama Systems makes a key piece of cybersecurity technology, that used to be affordable only for large enterprises, now also available and affordable for SMEs.”
Hans Keukenschrijver, CEO at Brama Systems: “Cybercrime, hacks and data leaks have unfortunately increased tremendously over the last years. On top of that, the average number of users, the number of connected devices and the volume of (guest)access to company networks also continues to grow rapidly. This puts business leaders and managers in front of a dilemma: wanting to enforce high standards of network security, without getting in the way of business processes, (guest) access and customer experience. Brama Systems brings NAC/NAP technology into an affordable and user-friendly platform that enables even SMEs to implement optimal network security, without comprises or inconveniences to their daily operations. The investment by Dutch Security TechFund enables us to continue to invest in our technology platform, expand our commercial team and to execute our international ambitions.”
Adriaan Hosmann, CTO at Brama Systems, adds: “The product portfolio or Brama Systems is designed around our proprietary advanced ‘PKI engine’. This enables us to appoint certificates to users and devices in a fast, simple, and reliable manner. Via these certificates our platform monitors and controls all access to the networks, blocking any unauthorized attempts – fully in line with ‘Zero trust’ principles.”
