Within the Strategy main line, NWO promotes social-scientific cooperation in a number of long-term programmes (LTP). Strong public-private consortia are invited to jointly set up a long-term programme. The research must fit within the mission-driven innovation policy of the KIC and connect to one or more Knowledge and Innovation Agendas.
For an application in this call for proposals a total minimum of €9,000,000 and a maximum of €25,000,000 can be applied for NWO funding. NWO thus funds a maximum of 30% of the total budget. The rest of the programme budget will be contributed through mandatory co-funding. Awarded projects have a duration of 10 years.
