Trivian Joins Security Delta (HSD) as Premium Partner!
Trivian recently joined Security Delta (HSD) as a Premium Partner! The initiative, founded by a group of entrepreneurs and IT professionals, was established to address one of the most urgent challenges within the cybersecurity domain: the Netherlands is facing a rapidly growing shortage of deployment-ready cyber professionals. Although more people are completing cybersecurity education or training, too few enter the labour market with the practical skills needed to operate effectively from day one.
This shortage is not due to a lack of talent or motivation, of which there is plenty. The core of the problem lies in the gap between education and operational reality. Many students and career switchers possess theoretical knowledge but lack the hands-on experience required to contribute meaningfully to real-world cyber operations. As a result, organisations face long onboarding periods, overstretched security teams and the loss of valuable talent before it can fully mature.
Reducing ramp-time
Trivian provides next-generation training in cybersecurity and AI for both individuals and organisations. The approach focuses entirely on building operational capability: participants don’t just learn about cybersecurity, they perform cybersecurity. Training takes place in realistic, continuously updated simulation environments that replicate real operational situations.
The programmes are developed in collaboration with experts from the intelligence and security community, ethical hackers and experienced C-level security leaders. This method significantly reduces the so-called ramp-time, the period required for new talent to become fully productive within a cyber team. Trivian holds the exclusive rights to offer this training methodology in Western Europe and is setting a new standard for practice-driven cybersecurity education in the region.
Strengthening the national talent pipeline
To support the growth of national cyber capacity, Trivian is launching a Cybersecurity Academy in the Netherlands. This academy forms a structured bridge between education, industry and government, accelerates the flow of talent into the labour market and ensures that training continuously aligns with the rapidly changing threat landscape and required competencies.
A learning community
For participants, Trivian represents more than just a training programme, it is a gateway to an active community of cybersecurity professionals. Graduates become part of an alumni network where knowledge sharing, collaboration and mentorship are central. Within this community, professionals learn with and from each other, share real-world experiences and build sustainable careers. In this way, every participant contributes not only to their own development but also to the strengthening of the broader cybersecurity ecosystem.
Active role within the HSD community
As a Premium Partner, Trivian aims to actively contribute to strengthening the national cybersecurity talent pipeline and collaborating with leading organisations within the HSD ecosystem. This partnership provides a platform for co-creation, sector alignment and a faster response to the growing demand for operational cyber talent in the Netherlands.
Lennard Parren, Co-Founder Trivian: “HSD’s mission, strengthening the digital resilience of the Netherlands through innovation and collaboration, aligns perfectly with what we do at Trivian. We were immediately impressed by the strength of the HSD network and its ability to connect education, industry and government. This collaboration is essential if we want to accelerate the development of operational cyber talent in the Netherlands.”
Collaboration
Trivian works with technology companies, government-related training partners and private cybersecurity providers. In addition, it maintains strong connections with experts from the intelligence and security sector and international trainers with decades of practical experience. Thanks to this network, the programmes remain current, adaptive and closely aligned with labour market needs.
Trivian is actively seeking partnerships with organisations and educational institutions that aim to increase the effectiveness of cybersecurity learning. Many organisations struggle with onboarding and upskilling, while educational institutions do not always have the capacity for practice-oriented training. Trivian forms a direct bridge between education and employment, reduces dropout, accelerates readiness and ensures that motivated talent enters the sector faster and better prepared.
Ambition
Trivian aims to redefine the development of cyber talent in the Netherlands. The training method focuses on realistic, scenario-based and intensive learning environments that reflect real practice, rather than traditional classroom-only learning. This approach shortens onboarding time, improves talent retention and strengthens national cyber capacity at a rapid pace.
“Cybersecurity is not a closed domain; it is a shared responsibility,” Trivian states. “Education, industry and government must work together if we want to build and retain the cyber talent that the Netherlands urgently needs. Through this partnership with HSD, we aim to contribute to a stronger and more resilient cyber ecosystem for our country.”
The Trivian team
Trivian is driven by a team with many years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information and Communication Technology, Education and Entrepreneurship: Terry Evers, Peter Altevogt, Sander Nieuwmeijer and Lennard Parren. Together, they are committed to sustainably transforming the way the Netherlands develops cyber talent.
