An upcoming innovation mission to the United Kingdom will bring together Dutch and British organisations active in dual-use technologies for intelligent systems and sensors. Taking place from 16 to 19 March 2026 in London and the surrounding region, the mission focuses on strengthening international collaboration in areas critical to Europe’s security and resilience.

Dual-use technologies such as artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, integrated photonics and robotics play an increasingly important role in the development of autonomous systems with both civilian and defence applications. These technologies are essential for addressing complex security challenges while supporting innovation across sectors.

During the mission, participants will engage with the UK innovation and defence ecosystem through expert sessions, matchmaking activities and strategic discussions. The programme is designed to stimulate knowledge exchange, encourage cross-border partnerships and explore joint research and development opportunities.

The United Kingdom is a strategic international partner with a strong innovation landscape connecting government, industry, academia and investors. Participation in the mission offers Dutch organisations valuable insight into this ecosystem, opportunities to expand international networks and the chance to contribute to future-oriented security solutions.

Registration is open to Dutch companies, research institutes and knowledge organisations active in relevant technology domains and interested in international collaboration. A participation fee applies. Travel and accommodation costs are at the participant’s own expense.

Interested organisations are encouraged to register in time, as the number of available places is limited.
