Digitisation and innovation offer tremendous opportunities for the province of South Holland. The region's key industries, such as manufacturing, maritime, and horticulture, contribute significantly to the economy but are vulnerable to cyberattacks. Cyber threats are increasing, and our highly interconnected supply chains make us vulnerable. Many organisations remain unprepared for these threats, which can cause severe financial damage.

Security Delta addresses these challenges by bringing together diverse stakeholders to strengthen digital resilience. Initiatives like the Cyber Resilience Centre Manufacturing South Holland and the Cyber Resilience Centre Greenport help companies enhance their security. These public-private collaborations focus on developing new technologies, securing hardware and software, and training experts.

Strengthening digital resilience requires collaboration across sectors—only together can we effectively combat today’s and tomorrow’s cyber threats.

By collaborating with partners, we enhance digital security, drive economic opportunities, and foster innovation through AI, cybersecurity, and secure-by-design smart grids, leveraging existing labs and campuses with key stakeholders like InnovationQuarter, regional hubs, industry leaders, research institutions, and government, while aligning regional, national, and European agendas to strengthen the Netherlands' digital resilience and create future jobs for South Holland.
