Cybersecurity Provider Tesorion Appoints Passguard as Specialised Partner for Infostealer Monitoring

HSD partner Tesorion has appointed Passguard as its specialised partner for detecting devices infected with infostealers and the sessions compromised as a result. With this collaboration, Tesorion positions itself as the first Dutch managed security service provider (MSSP) to explicitly integrate infostealer monitoring into its service offering.

By working with Passguard, Tesorion gains insight into which devices have been infected and which sessions and credentials have been compromised. These credentials are often traded on closed criminal marketplaces. Using this information, Tesorion can identify risks at an early stage and provide targeted alerts to its clients.

The risk of infostealers

With the rise of infostealers, the risk of account takeover has significantly increased. Traditional security measures often fail to detect this threat, as infostealers are frequently active on unmanaged devices. This requires a different approach. Infostealer monitoring is therefore a natural extension of Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services, helping organisations address a risk that affects almost every company.

Tom Leijte, CEO and co-founder of Passguard, explains how infostealer insights are translated into concrete security services through this collaboration: "Passguard provides visibility into infostealer infections and stolen sessions.
