Cybersecurity Is Shifting from an IT Issue to a Governance Challenge

Cybersecurity is no longer solely an IT issue, but increasingly a governance and organisational challenge. Cyberattacks are being used as geopolitical instruments, targeting critical infrastructure, governments and businesses, while the digital resilience of many organisations is struggling to keep pace with these threats.

In an interview with Topic Nederland, Joris den Bruinen, managing director of Security Delta (HSD), discusses why investing in secure by design can not only reduce risks, but also create new business cases and revenue models. He also highlights the importance of collaboration in strengthening digital resilience. Organisations that invest in collaboration and resilience today will be better prepared than those that wait until an incident forces them to act.
