500 Million New Customers for HSD partner Onegini

With the investment of 1.5 million euros, received by The Hatch Firm and InnovationQuarter at the end of 2015, Onegini has invested in its international strategy. This has led to a collaboration with Infosys Finacle, part of EdgeVerve Systems, a product subsidiary of Infosys (NYSE: INFY). The collaboration allows the Dutch provider of mobile phones security software located at the HSD Campus access to a market of over 500 million people in 84 countries.

EdgeVerve develops software for banks, financial institutions and insurers and has the ambition to connect all 2.4 billion people in the world that have no bank account in a banking system. For this, the Indian company integrates security software of Onegini to its own platform. Onegini provides a security platform that provides bank-grade security for mobile apps and enables authentication solutions such as fingerprint identification, face, iris and voice recognition to be easily added to mobile applications.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed this week in the presence of the King and Queen of the Netherlands Willem-Alexander and Máxima during a trade mission in Beieren.
