Winners Hackathon for Good The Hague 2020

The first prize was won by team Bootleg Hackers, who worked on the environmental crime challenge by the Dutch Police. They created a platform that cultivates a community and empowers them to take collective actions against environmental crimes. Environmental crimes are hard to detect due to the lack of data and can also lead to helplessness among the citizens.

The second prize went to team Chakra for their open-source solution based on building a single page web application with an intuitive Reach Front end. The jury was very impressed by the technical solution, the focus on end-users, and the solution’s scalability.
