Cybersecurity & Manufacturing Industry in South Holland

The manufacturing industry, facing unique challenges in the realm of cybersecurity, finds itself under pressure due to the utilization of both IT and OT (Operational Technology) networks. Recognizing this, the coalition is committed to set up a Cyber Resilience Centre Manufacturing South Holland to address these challenges and provide practical tools for companies to enhance their cybersecurity measures resulting in an improved level of cyber resilience. To do so, this initiative has received a subsidy from the Digital Trust Centre (DTC) and RVO, part of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy in December 2023.

Coalition of the Doing

The kick-off of the coalition of the doing took place at the Lely Campus in Maassluis, South Holland. Lely is a leading player in the field of agricultural innovative solutions to improve life of farmers and to jointly create a sustainable and profitable future in the agricultural sector. An inspiring place where all coalition partners marked the beginning of this important initiative; to support the manufacturing sector in building a resilient and secure business ecosystem.

Martin van Gogh, Hi Delta “Ambition of the coalition is to launch a cyber resilience platform for the manufacturing industry in South Holland in April 2024. In such a way that we can offer entrepreneurs practical and concrete tools to enhance their cyber measures. We will support them in facing their cyber security challenges by providing different tools, checklists, lessons learned, threat intel and more”.

This centre is a follow-up of the Cyber Resilience Centre Greenport, which is supported by DTC, MRDH, Province of South Holland and Municipality of The Hague.
