SBIR Call: €1.5 Million Available for Automated Vulnerability Research & Crypto Communication
Do you want to contribute to a safer, smarter and digitally independent the Netherlands? The Ministries of Economic Affairs and Climate (EZK) and Defense challenge entrepreneurs to develop innovative products and services in which they apply Automated Vulnerability Research (AVR) or crypto communication. The call opens on 16 August and quotations must be submitted before 1 October 2021.
There are two different SBIR calls: one for Automated Vulnerability Research (AVR) and one for crypto communication.
- AVR focuses on automatically finding and repairing vulnerabilities in software. Focussing on vulnerabilities that have not been found and/or published before.
- Crypto Communication is the application of cryptography in all forms of digital communication within different domains. Crypto communication makes it possible to send, store and process data securely.
A budget of € 750,000 per call is available (all amounts include VAT) with the following breakdown per phase:
- € 150,000 is available for phase 1.
- € 600,000 is available for phase 2.
