Cybersec Netherlands 2026: HSD and partners bring cybersecurity expertise together

On 9 and 10 September, cybersecurity professionals from across the Netherlands came together at Jaarbeurs Utrecht for Cybersec Netherlands 2026. As key partner, Security Delta (HSD) was present with its partners, expertise and a dedicated Meeting Zone.

Connecting expertise at the HSD Meeting Zone

At the HSD Meeting Zone, seven HSD Premium Partners presented their technologies, expertise and solutions around the theme “Next Gen Capabilities”. AdversIQ, Audittrail, Cyemptive Technologies, Compumatica Secure Networks, Indurex, LiveDrop Technology and S2GRUPO brought perspectives ranging from threat intelligence and incident response to secure networking, security awareness, OT security and secure digital communication.

Beyond showcasing solutions, the Meeting Zone created space for conversations and new connections. It highlighted the importance of bringing organisations from across the cybersecurity ecosystem together to exchange knowledge, explore opportunities and turn innovation into practical solutions.

Strengthening cyber resilience across the supply chain

SMEs were another key focus of HSD's contribution. In her keynote, Anne Visser, Programme Manager Cybersecurity & Resilience at HSD, addressed how SMEs can strengthen their cyber resilience despite limited time, resources and cybersecurity expertise.

Drawing on examples from manufacturing and horticulture, Anne highlighted the importance of security-by-design and collaboration across the ecosystem. SMEs are closely connected to supply chains, meaning that cyber resilience is not only an individual responsibility but also a shared challenge. Innovation hubs and sector initiatives can help organisations translate cybersecurity into practical steps that fit their day-to-day reality.

Putting OT security into practice

Operational Technology (OT) was another major focus at Cybersec Netherlands. Together with HSD, a dedicated OT programme brought practitioners and experts together to discuss the realities of securing industrial environments and critical infrastructure.

The programme focused on practical experiences and real-world dilemmas rather than product pitches. Sessions covered topics including asset intelligence and network visibility, the Cybersecurity Act, preparations for the NATO Summit, data diodes, OT incident response and the differences between IT and OT security.

The programme was developed with the guidance of OT security expert and Cybersec Advisory Board member Marcel Jutte, with HSD colleague Josephine van Luik joining as co-moderator. Experts from organisations including IXON, MODELEC, Legian, Municipality of The Hague, Compumatica Secure Networks, OnLogic, Fox-IT, NCSC, S2GRUPO, Pilz Nederland, Stedin and SoftCryptum contributed to the programme.

Stronger together

Across the two days, one message came through clearly: cyber resilience depends on collaboration. Whether the focus is on SMEs, supply chains, OT environments or emerging technologies, organisations need to share knowledge, learn from practical experience and work together across sectors.

For HSD, Cybersec Netherlands provided an important platform to bring our partners and ecosystem together and to demonstrate how collaboration can help turn cybersecurity challenges into practical action.
