NL Missions on Cyber Security and Digitalisation to Singapore
From 16 till 20 October, during the eighth Singapore International Cyber Week (SICW), two Dutch missions to Singapore took place; on Cyber Security and digitalisation. The later, as a factfinding delegation, had a busy week of strategic exchanges with key players in Singapore on the following topics: artificial intelligence, data sharing, future communication systems and trust technologies such as blockchain and privacy enhancing technologies. With all off these topics cyber security also plays a crucial role.
The delegations included experts and representatives from public and private organisations: Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy, Ministry of Security and Justice, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Netherlands Forensic Institute (NFI), National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), National Police, INTERPOL Innovation Centre Directorate, Topsector ICT, Dutch Blockchain Coalition, Netherlands AI Coalition (NLAIC), dcypher, Security Delta (HSD), GFCE, TNO, CWI, KPMG, EclecticIQ and CFLW.
The programme form the digitalisation mission included several meetings, visits and participations, for example on a Cyber testbed, Cyber Security Expo GovWare, NCS/Singtel Group, AI.Singapore, Digital Trust Centre and InfoComm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and an aligned network event at the residency of the Dutch embassy in Singapore.
This missions were organised by the Netherlands Innovation Network aligned to the embassy of the Netherlands in Singapore and the ministery of Economic Affairs.
