Successful Third Edition of the Haagse ICT-Carrièredag Connects Talent and Industry
On Tuesday 20 April, the third edition of the 'Haagse ICT-Carrièredag' took place at the WerkTalent Stadium in The Hague. With a strong focus on networking, knowledge sharing, and professional development, the event offered MBO and HBO students valuable opportunities to engage directly with potential employers and gain insights into the fast-evolving IT-sector. Security Delta (HSD) was present at the event with its own Security Talent stand, which is a platform that offers a clear and accessible job board where employers can post vacancies and professionals can explore relevant career opportunities.
Against the backdrop of a growing demand for internships, many students continue to face challenges in identifying where to begin and which opportunities best align with their ambitions. At the same time, interest in cybersecurity is steadily increasing. Initiatives such as career events and platforms like Security Talent play an important role in bridging the gap between job seekers and employers by connecting the right talent with the right opportunities.
The Haagse ICT-Carrièredag brought together a diverse range of companies, from SMEs to large corporates, as well as organisations from the South Holland region, alongside ICT students (MBO and HBO) from The Hague who are actively exploring their talents and future career paths. The day provided a valuable setting for meaningful encounters, knowledge exchange, and the development of new insights.
