In collaboration with Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), we would like to bring two interesting collaboration opportunities to your attention. We do so with the aim of fostering international cooperation and knowledge exchange, which are essential to accelerating innovation and strengthening organisations in an increasingly competitive and technology-driven landscape.

This time, we would like to highlight two offers from Spain. These opportunities present potential for collaboration in areas such as technological development, knowledge sharing, and market access, and may be of particular interest to organisations looking to enhance their innovation capacity or explore new international partnerships.

Passive, agentless RF sensing system (WiFi) with edge-AI for early perimeter and critical-infrastructure protection, seeking R&D and integration partners.

A Spanish cybersecurity SME has developed and validated a passive electromagnetic sensing layer for perimeter and critical-infrastructure protection. The system uses three monitor-mode antennas to listen for the wireless footprint of mobile devices (WiFi) and applies edge-AI behavioural analytics to detect and classify their presence, distance and behaviour in the approach zone of a protected site, before the target enters the visual field of cameras or physical sensors.

Expected Role of a Partner

Type of partner sought: research organisations, system integrators, and critical-infrastructure end-users; within Horizon Europe Cluster 3, consortia or bilateral R&D/technical cooperation.

  • Coordinators building Horizon Europe Cluster 3 proposals who need a passive RF sensing capability: the company is a technology partner and pilot provider, contributing its validated sensing layer, edge behavioural analytics and prototype for piloting.
  • Research organisations with expertise in RF/EM localisation, signal processing or multi-sensor data fusion, to co-develop X/Y and height-aware localisation and device fingerprinting toward TRL5-6.
  • System integrators, C2 and surveillance-platform providers, to integrate the sensing outputs into wider situational-awareness / command-and-control systems and standardise interfaces.
  • Critical-infrastructure operators and security service providers (energy, transport, government, high-value sites) to define operational requirements and host real-environment pilots.

On-premise private artificial intelligence platform for secure and compliant generative AI adoption

An Italian startup with offices in Milano is active in the field of private and trustworthy artificial intelligence. The founding team combines competences in machine learning, cybersecurity and regulatory compliance. The founders have combined professional experience in ESG consulting, machine learning engineering and data governance. The startup has been selected for an industry accelerator programme focused on bridging innovative technology companies with established SMEs in manufacturing and supply-chain sectors.

Expected Role of a Partner

The partner sought is a technology company (AI solution provider, software house, cybersecurity firm, managed service provider) or a research organisation with access to SME markets and/or complementary technical competences. The partner's expected role includes:

  • Running joint pilot deployments with selected end clients in its country;
  • contributing to the co-development or localisation of platform modules (languages, sector-specific compliance requirements, integrations with locally used business software);
  • providing feedback for product and market validation;
  • joining consortia for European research and innovation projects on trustworthy AI for SMEs.
