Join the Renewed HSD Cafés in 2017
HSD is happy to announce a new series of HSD Cafés in 2017. For this year, we have changed the frequency, interaction and language of the cafés. The dates for 2017 are already available here so don’t forget to add these to your calendar!
Renewed HSD Café
In 2017 the HSD Cafés will take place every last Thursday of the month (except during public holidays) and will be organised around key security topics relevant for the HSD network. From infrastructure protection to real-time intelligence, and from big data to integrated area protection, the cafés serve to inform the network about the latest development and opportunities. The main language will be Dutch and of course drinks and snacks will be provided.
More Interactive
For this year, we have chosen to focus on making the cafés more interactive. In addition to an expert view on key developments and opportunities, during each café multiple organisations will get the opportunity to pitch the key challenges they face. After this, the presenting organisations each go to their own ‘table’ and all participants are then invited to join these tables to discuss possible solutions. This is a great way to meet new potential business partners, expand your knowledge and shape the debate on key security challenges.
Upcoming HSD Café: Critical Infrastructure Trends for 2017 (26 January, Session in Dutch)
As critical infrastructures are essential for the functioning of our society and economy, from the beginning of HSD this has been an important theme. For this café, we have therefore invited multiple key stakeholders in this field to talk about the challenges they face. This provides a great opportunity to learn about the current trends in the critical infrastructures domain as well as to meet these organisations.
The following organisations, which all recently became Premium Partner of HSD, will present their challenges:
- Alliander
- Cisco
- De Nederlandse Bank
- Huawei
At the start of the café, these organisations will be welcomed by Deputy Mayor Ingrid van Engelshoven. Critical infrastructure protection is a priority for the city of The Hague. Together with the Deputy Mayor we will discuss importance of this topic.
