To realise innovations in the security domain triple helix collaborations are seen as a key driver. Triple helix partnerships are partnerships between businesses, governmental organisations and knowledge institutes. The survey was conducted by TNO and Twynstra Gudde commissioned by HSD. The research focused on interviews among different kind of organisations which have experience with triple helix cooperation. Result is this report which contains 10 recipes and practical tools for success in Triple Helix cooperation.

The report is an outcome of the National Innovation Agenda for Security 2015 (NIAS), focus point 3 for innovation aimed at mapping the success and failure factors. This knowledge is already used in Public Private collaborations within HSD.
