Five Finalists of the Security Innovation Competition Announced

A real-time tracking system for emergency responders, a navigation system for emergency services, a multidisciplinary operational security image in the emergency room, 3D visualisation of actual data, and a personal data recorder for emergency responders to assist during and after an incident. The five finalists of the Security Innovation Competition, selected out of 30 proposals, are now known.

 

On 14 November 2014, the final day of the competition which is dedicated to innovative ideas from small and medium sized businesses to further improve security in the region, they will pitch their ideas to a jury.  The winner will receive € 200,000 to further develop the idea under the guidance of the ‘[secure] through innovation’ programme of the National Coordinator for Terrorism and Security and the PbK&I department of the Ministry of Defence.

 

The organisation would like to invite you to attend this final day of the 2014 Security Innovation Competition to be inspired by the innovations. The final day takes place at the Kromhout Barracks in Utrecht and will commence in the early afternoon.
