Recap: Cyber Security Week International Kick-off 2024

The Cyber Security Week kicked off at the HSD Campus in the morning of 30 September. International delegations from over 15 countries took part in a tailored programme to give them an in-depth introduction to the Dutch cyber security ecosystem.

Attendees were welcomed to the city by Saida van Kalsbeek (Municipality of The Hague). Martijn van Hoogenhuijze and Philip Meijer (InnovationQuarter) shared insights into the Dutch cyber security landscape and doing business in the Netherlands. Joris den Bruinen, General Director of Security Delta (HSD) gave a brief introduction on the foundation and its activities.

After the morning programme, a speed-dating event took place in brief 20-minute sessions where participants introduced themselves and their organisation, leading to discovery of common ground, before the groups were mixed again to make more connections.

Cyber Security Week 2024

The Cyber Security Week takes place from 30 September until 4 October in The Hague, and is all about cyber security. During this week many events are taking place, giving participants access to cyber security knowledge, talent, capital, market and innovation. Highlights include the ONE Conference, ECSO Cyber Investor Days, an SME Cyber Crisis Exercise, Hack the Hague, and the Women4Cyber Conference. These events provide opportunities to network, meet key players, discuss the latest developments, share knowledge and create awareness.
