Digitalzh 2.0

HSD is a partner in Digitalzh 2.0, a programme that helps industrial SMEs turn digital ambitions into practical, secure and resilient solutions. Building on the results of the first Digitalzh phase, in which more than 1000 entrepreneurs explored digital opportunities and hundreds of companies received tailored support, the programme now focuses on the application and scaling of digital technologies in industry.

Supported by the European Commission, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Province of South Holland, Digitalzh 2.0 enables SMEs in sectors such as manufacturing, maritime and ports, and horticulture to test and implement digital innovations safely and sustainably. Through a hands-on approach, companies can experiment in realistic environments with support from independent experts, field labs and cybersecurity specialists before making larger investments. 

Within the programme, HSD enables organisations to gather knowledge and insights to take action to strengthen their organisations and product digital resilience:

• Cyber Resilience Action Plan: a baseline assessment that identifies vulnerabilities and provides actionable recommendations, including preparations for NIS2 and future regulatory requirements.

• Secure by Design Action Plan: an in-depth cybersecurity review of product design, with targeted advice to improve security and support compliance with the European Cyber Resilience Act. 

• Workshops: interactive sessions in which SMEs actively work on cybersecurity topics such as Operational Technology (OT) and Secure-by-Design principles.
